ATHENS, Ga.- The Georgia State men’s tennis team concluded play at the Southern Intercollegiate Championships Sunday afternoon. Sophomore Bailey Showers was runner-up in the Division III singles bracket, while Giles Hussey and Kevin Huynh were runner-ups in the Division II doubles bracket.
In the Division I singles consolation bracket, Quentin Coulaud won his flight with a 6-4, 6-1 defeat of Remi Chancerel of Florida Atlantic. Jack MacFarlane fell 6-7 (5), 7-5, 6-2 in the Round of 16 to Oli Nolan of UNC Asheville in the Division II singles bracket, with Hussey winning his flight in the Division II singles consolation bracket.
