HARRISONBURG, Va. – The Georgia State Panthers (21-13, 8-4 SBC) completed the sweep over the James Madison Dukes (10-22, 4-8 SBC) with an 8-5 win on April 6, 2025, at Eagle Field at VMP. Ross Norman (4-4) pitched six solid innings for the win, while Jake Hembree earned the save with three shutout frames.
The Panthers jumped on the Dukes early in the top of the first. Michael Maginnis opened the game with a double, then moved to third on a balk. After Kaleb Freeman and Colin Hynek both walked, William Maginnis's single drove in two runs to give GSU a 2-0 lead.
