Box Score 1 ATLANTA— Georgia State men's tennis posted a 5-2 win over Sun Belt Conference foe Coastal Carolina on Sunday as Diego Padilha clinched match point for the Panthers with a three-set victory at the third singles court. The fifth-year graduate rallied back down a set to force the match tiebreak before charting a 6-4 win in the third set to secure the team its first conference victory of 2023.
GSU entered Sunday's match in Atlanta by posting a strong doubles victory and taking an early advantage in match play. Roberts Grinvalds and Gabriele Datei notched a win at the top court, while Edward Tymes and Harrison Kim won at the third court and gave the Panthers a 1-0 lead entering singles.
