ATLANTA -- Georgia State saw it's four-game win streak snapped Thursday at home against Appalachian State as the Mountaineers won 64-59 in overtime.
GSU led after the first quarter but Appalachian State flipped the script in the second quarter and was in front until GSU tied the game at 47-47 in the final period.
The Panthers briefly took the lead in the closing minutes but the two sides ended regulation tied 53-53.
GSU started overtime on a 6-2 run with a pair of 3-pointers but App State closed the game on a 9-0 run to get the win.
