ATLANTA -- Georgia State's season opener vs. Ball State on Friday, Sept. 2 will kick off at 7 p.m. ET at the Georgia Dome and will be nationally televised on the American Sports Network (ASN) as part of a partnership with the Sun Belt Conference that was announced Wednesday.

The Georgia State-Ball State game is the first event of this partnership, which allows for a minimum of eight football games and a minimum of 10 basketball games from the Sun Belt to be aired through the American Sports Network in 2016-17.
