With the win over the No. 3-seeded Sandy Chants, head coach Beth Van Fleet and the top-seeded Sandy Panthers have now charted three consecutive shutout victories at the conference tournament with wins in straight sets at every flight for all three matches.
Yasmin Kuck and Lila Bordis earned GSU its first point for dual match play on Friday, as the pair downed opponents at the second flight with a dominant 21-16, 21-9 win in straight sets.
