Nine Georgia State Panthers, including first-team selections Travis Glover and Marcus Carroll, were named to the 2023 All-Sun Belt Conference football team, selected by the league head coaches and media panel and announced Thursday.
Linebacker Jontrey Hunter, cornerback Gavin Pringle and wide receiver Robert Lewis made the third team, while quarterback Darren Grainger, safety Jeremiah Johnson, outside linebacker Kevin Swint and receiver Tailique Williams earned honorable mention recognition.
Georgia State (6-6) is bowl eligible and will learn its destination on Sunday as the Panthers will play in a bowl game for the sixth time in 10 seasons of FBS football, including five of the last seven years under head coach Shawn Elliott.
