ATLANTA -- The date for Georgia State’s 2017 football game at Charlotte has been moved to Saturday, Sept. 23 at Charlotte’s Jerry Richardson Stadium, director of athletics Charlie Cobb announced.
Originally scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 9, the game has been moved two weeks later to accommodate Charlotte’s Sept. 9 game at Kansas State. In exchange, Kansas State will pay Georgia State $215,000.
Georgia State’s complete 2017 schedule will be announced March 1 by the Sun Belt Conference. The Panthers’ non-conference slate under new head coach Shawn Elliott is as follows:
