ATLANTA--Georgia State catcher Nick Gatewood has been named a National Player of the Week by Collegiate Baseball newspaper.

He hit .533 on the week, with a .619 on-base percentage and a 1.400 slugging percentage while catching 34 of the Panthers' 35 innings.
