Nashville Gathering and Atlanta Watch Parties Set

Georgia State will make its fourth appearance in the NCAA tournament beginning on Friday as a No. 15 seed facing No. 2 seed Cincinnati in a South Region first-round contest Nashville, Tenn., at 2 p.m. ET.

Georgia State (24-10) is making its second appearance in the ‘Big Dance’ in the last four years. In 2015, when a No. 14-seed, the Panthers became the Cinderella of the ‘Big Dance’ when R.J. Hunter hit a 30-foot 3-pointer with 2.6 seconds to play to stun No. 3-seed Baylor as head coach Ron Hunter fell off a stool. The elder Hunter had torn his Achilles in the Sun Belt Conference championship game celebration a week before.
