“FINAL FOUR” BEGINS BATTLE FOR “FINAL ONE”
Georgia State (9-16, 4-12) gets set for its final four games, three against the other teams in the battle for the one remaining Sun Belt Tournament seed.
The schedule works out for it to be a round-robin with these bottom four teams over the final stretch. That begins Monday night with the two teams tied for ninth place going head-to-head in Statesboro as the Panthers challenge the Eagles (7-18, 4-12) of Georgia Southern. The Eagles have a current advantage by virtue of winning the game in Atlanta.
Georgia State then meets the team in eighth place (Appalachian State, 8-17, 5-11) on Saturday in Atlanta.
