ATLANTA -- Georgia State center Gabe Mobley was named Tuesday to the 2016 Spring Watch List for the Rimington Trophy.
The Rimington Trophy is presented annually to the Most Outstanding Center in NCAA Division I-A College Football.
Mobley, 6-2 and 285 pounds, is a redshirt sophomore from Moultrie, Ga., and Colquitt County High School. He moved into the starting role at center in the second game of the 2015 seaon and played nearly every snap the rest of the season, helping the Panthers earn their first bowl berth in the AutoNation Cure Bowl. He is one of Georgia State's 16 returning starters, three on the offensive line.
