JONESBORO, Ark. – Georgia State placed fourth at the 2019 Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship this weekend hosted by Arkansas State.
Georgia State’s fourth-place finish is the team’s top performance since the Panthers placed second in 2015.
Lotte Meyberg took home a Sun Belt championship in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 10:27.52 and earned 10 team points for GSU. On the weekend, Meyberg registered 16 points as she also placed third in the 5000m.
With the Panthers' finish ahead of rival Georgia Southern in the final team standings, the Panthers lock up another point in the 2018-19 Rivalry Series.
