ATLANTA – Following a pair of weather delays due to lightning, the Georgia State men's soccer team played to a 0-0 exhibition draw with Clayton State in their first game in Georgia State's new soccer facility.
The two teams played three 30-minute periods as GSU head coach Brett Surrency played all 22 available players.
Senior Matthew Fearnley provided the Panthers with three shots, all just off target, while Justin Guest recorded two shots on goal.
The Panthers played all three goalkeepers (Gunther Rankenburg, Cooper Bowen, and Stephen O'Hearn) who combined for one save as the Lakers managed just six shots.
