ATLANTA – The Georgia State men's golf team will begin a busy stretch of four tournaments in four weeks traveling just across the state line into Alabama for the Graeme McDowell Invitational at Silver Lakes Golf Club, a part of the Robert Trent Jones trail beginning on Monday.
The field of 15 teams, including six Sun Belt Conference members, will play the two-day, 54-hole event in Gadsden, Ala.
Georgia State is coming off a near record-setting performance to open the year at the Maui Jim Intercollegiate in Scottsdale, Ariz. The Panthers three-round total of 837 tied for the third-lowest 54-hole tournament score in program history.
