Despite a third-straight year with a winning record, last season did not end the way anyone associated with the Georgia State program wanted it to. Rather than dwelling on a disappointing end, the Panthers went to work in the offseason to make sure the 2016-17 season ends with a return trip to the NCAA tournament and another memorable March Madness, just like the one that was capped by a magical 30-footer two years ago.
Gone are seniors Jalen Brown, Markus Crider, T.J. Shipes and Kevin Ware, two of which (Crider and Ware) are currently playing professionally overseas.
