ATLANTA—Playing a 20-game league schedule that will start in December, Georgia State announced its 2019-20 Sun Belt Conference schedule on Tuesday. The back-to-back Sun Belt Conference champions will play all but two members of the league twice each beginning Dec. 19.
Under first-year head coach Rob Lanier, Georgia State will open conference play at home on Dec. 19, against UT Arlington in a rematch of last year’s Sun Belt Conference tournament championship game which the Panthers won to advance to a third NCAA Tournament in five seasons.
The Panthers are coming off a second-straight 24-win season in which they won the league’s regular-season title on the final day of the season, earning a win over in-state rival Georgia Southern in Statesboro.
