Georgia State senior Mahina Leveau is the Sun Belt Conference Women's Golfer of the Week after a strong performance at the Georgia State Invitational.
The native of Beauvais, France, finished as runner-up while leading GSU to a second-place showing in the team standings in the Panthers' annual home event, which was shortened to 36 holes by severe weather.
Leveau shot 73-74 in the first two rounds for a 3-over 147, four strokes behind individual leader Rebecca Brink of Memphis, who shot 68-75 (-1) to capture individual medalist honors. Leveau played her first four holes of Round 3 at 1-under to pull within one shot of the lead when play ended.
