ATLANTA -- Jada Lewis scored a season-high 18 points to lead Georgia State past ULM 68-52 Saturday at the GSU Sports Arena.
Georgia State trailed ULM 13-12 after the first quarter, but the Panthers went on a big 18-3 run to end the first half and never looked back. The win marks five in a row over the Warhawks.
Turnovers were the key Saturday as the Panthers capitalized on ULM's mistakes, scoring 26 points off turnovers. The GSU defense recorded 10 steals and seven blocks, six of which came from Shaq Miller-McCray.
With the six blocks, Miller-McCray moved into fourth in GSU's record book with 128 career blocks.
