ATLANTA, GA --Toneari Lane hit a buzzer-beating 3-pointer with 1.8 seconds on the clock to lift Georgia State to a 72-71 win over Coastal Carolina at the GSU Convocation Center Wednesday as the Panthers won for the fourth time in their last five games.
Dwon Odom hit the tying 3-pointer from the corner with 31 seconds left. After Coastal Carolina sank two free throws to take a 71-69 lead, Odom pushed the ball up the court and found Lane in the same corner spot for the game-winner.
Lane led the Panthers (13-14, 7-8) with 16 points, including two crucial 3-pointers in the final 75 seconds.
