ATLANTA -- Four players scored in double figures, led by Toneari Lane with 17 points and Lucas Taylor with 15, as Georgia State cruised to a 73-53 win over Miami (Ohio) in the Sun Belt-MAC Challenge Saturday at the GSU Convocation Center.
The Panthers won their second straight game and completed a season sweep of their Sun Belt-MAC Challenge games after winning at Western Michigan in November.
Georgia State led almost the entire game, building a 35-25 advantage at the half. Miami opened the second half by hitting back-to-back 3-pointers to cut the deficit to four points, but GSU quickly responded with a steal and layup by Taylor and then a trey by Lane.
