ATLANTA – Georgia State men’s golf coach Joe Inman has been named as a part of the 10-member class for the Guilford County Sports Hall of Fame as announced by the organization on Wednesday.
Inman, who just completed his 11th year with the program and has announced his retirement, was also a longtime professional golfer with success on the PGA and Champions Tours who grew up in North Carolina before attending Wake Forest.
Along with Inman are fellow golfer Robert Linville, coaching standouts Mickie Tuttle and Michael Porter, volleyball star Katie Smith Davis, soccer player and coach Ronnie Coveleskie Woodward, former NFL player Mark Dixon and baseball standout Billy Sorrell.
