MOBILE, Ala. -- Taylor Hosendove recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds in Georgia State's 47-41 win at South Alabama Thursday night.
The Panthers jumped out to a 7-0 lead and stayed on top until the final minute of the third quarter when South Alabama went up 33-32. The Panthers outscored the Jaguars 15-8 in the final period to grab the six-point victory in Game 1 of the two-game series in Mobile.
Hosendove, who recorded her 12th career double-double, was joined in double figures by Hannah Sadler. Sadler totaled 12 points with five rebounds and four blocks.
