STATESBORO, Ga. -- Georgia State earned a 2-2 draw at Georgia Southern Sunday night in Statesboro.
Georgia State (7-1-2, 6-1-2 Sun Belt) trailed the Eagles 2-1 in the 68th minute when Kelsee Holloway scored her second goal of the season. Holloway's shot snuck between a GS defender's legs and curved into the lower left corner of the goal.
Holloway's goal came after Georgia Southern had scored in the 25th and 42nd minutes of the first half.
For the second consecutive game, Grace Kiser scored early for the Panthers. On Thursday against Mercer, the transfer from Elon scored her first goal as a Panther in just the 5th minute.
