ATLANTA -- Daisy Hess hit a pair of three-run homers to lead GSU to a pair of wins over Chattanooga Saturday at the Bob Heck Softball Complex.
The Panthers took Game 1 6-2 before winning Game 2 8-2 as Hess went a combined 5-for-8 with two home runs, a double, and seven RBI.
GSU led 1-0 in the first game before Skylar Mosel launched a two-run homer to make it a 3-0 game in the third. Hess doubled the lead with her three-run shot in the sixth. Chattanooga threatened with a pair of runs in the seventh but GSU held on as Emily Buck got the save.
