STATESBORO –Georgia State buried a barrage of 13 three-pointers to tie their single-game record and outlast in-state rival Georgia Southern 88-83 in triple-overtime at the Hill Convocation Center on Saturday afternoon.
Playing at the Hill Convocation Center for the first time in series history, Georgia State (8-10, 2-5 Sun Belt) shot 13-of-23 (56.5 percent) from three, tying their single-game record set in their 78-59 win over Furman in 2020 and their 107-49 win over Sewanee on December 8 earlier this season.
