Call this one a “Super” Track and Field Meet. Georgia State will compete in the 18-team South Alabama Jaguar Invitational on Super Bowl Sunday at the Birmingham CrossPlex. GSU will be facing six other Sun Belt Conference schools, as well, in this Sunday event.
With only two weeks before the Sun Belt Championships on Feb. 22-23 at this same venue, the Panthers look to see continued improvement leading into the big meet.
Coach Chris England will take 21 members of the 27-member Indoor Track and Field team to this Sunday competition.
Challenging GSU from the conference are Arkansas State, Little Rock, UL Lafayette, UL Monroe, South Alabama and Troy.
