Georgia State will compete in the Tiger Track Classic at Auburn, a large 20-team meet Friday and Saturday, April 8-9 at Hutsell-Rosen Track.
The Panthers will be facing three other Sun Belt schools (South Alabama, Troy and UL Lafayette) as well as three SEC teams (Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and host Auburn), a pair of ACC teams (Clemson and Georgia Tech) along with two C-USA teams (Southern Miss and MTSU).
GSU will take 28 team members and compete in 18 events over the two days. The three Friday events are the hammer throw, javelin and 5,000m run. Saturday’s 15 events that GSU will compete include four field events (long jump, shot put, discus, high jump), nine running events and two relay events.
