MACON, Ga. – Georgia State men’s tennis concluded its second fall tournament of 2018 on Sunday at the Mercer Gridiron Classic, headlined by runner-up honors in the Flight A Doubles Consolation bracket from Andrei Duarte and Patrick Lazo.
The two other Panthers who competed over the weekend, Kevin and Steven Huynh, also triumphed in doubles play, as the pair reached the quarterfinals of the Flight A Doubles bracket. GSU also found success individually and was once again able to produce solid results, finishing the tournament with a 15-7 overall record.
“For Kevin and Steven it was their first fall tournament of the semester so it was nice to see Kevin pick up some singles wins and doubles wins as well with his brother Steven,” GSU head coach Jonathan Wolff said.
