PEACHTREE CITY, Ga.- The Georgia State men’s tennis team fell 4-1 in a heartbreaking loss to the No. 3 seed South Alabama in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament finals.
With the loss, the team fell to 14-11 and the Jaguars improved to 14-9.
GSU opened the match with a doubles clinch, earning the point in the third set. No. 39 Loic Cloes and Clement Marzol defeated Sebastian Acuna and Andrei Duarte 6-1, but Giles Hussey and Jack MacFarlane split doubles play with a 6-4 win at the No. 2 position.
