* In the first match of the weekend, Georgia State dropped its match against UL Lafayette in straight sets. The Ragin’ Cajuns defeated the Panthers with final scores of 22-25, 16-25 and 11-25.
* Seniors Kristina Stinson and Eliza Zachary proved bright spots for the Panthers as they combined for 13 kills, but GSU fell to 4-8 on the season.
* The Panthers will look to bounce back and inch closer to .500 against UL Monroe tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m.
