PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. – Georgia State men's tennis concluded the weekend with a perfect 3-0 record after picking up wins over Stetson and Mercer in Sunday's doubleheader at the Peachtree City Tennis Center.
The Panthers (4-6) opened the day with a nail-biting 4-3 victory over Stetson (7-3), as redshirt freshman Patrick Lazo tallied his first clinch of the season with a 6-3, 3-6, 7-5 victory at the No. 5 position. Also earning wins in singles competition for GSU was Andrei Duarte and Roberts Grinvalds. Duarte notched a 1-6, 6-4, 7-6 win on court three while Grivalds cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 victory on court two.
