ATLANTA – Brooke Shank and Jolie Ryff each tallied a goal and an assist to lead Georgia State women’s soccer to a 2-0 victory over Louisiana Friday night at the GSU Soccer Complex, snapping the Panthers’ two-match losing streak and picking up the team’s second win in conference play.
Friday’s win improved GSU to 5-8-2 on the season and 2-4-1 in the Sun Belt and gave the Panthers back-to-back victories against the Ragin’ Cajuns. The win also moved Georgia State to 4-2-1 at the GSU Soccer Complex this season. Louisiana, meanwhile, dropped to 7-6-3 overall and 3-3-2 in conference play.
