Griffin Earns Sun Belt All-Conference Honors

ATLANTA- Georgia State women's volleyball standout Meisheia Griffin earned Second Team All-Sun Belt honors as voted on by head coaches around the league, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.

Griffin, a junior from Columbus, Ga., made a huge impact at the net this year. Her 1.15 blocks per set is the most among players in the Sun Belt. Her nine blocks in a single game are tied for the fourth most in a single contest in the conference. Griffin proved to be a dual threat, recording a .309 hitting percentage in conference matches, best for 8th in the league.
