ATLANTA -- Progress is all around Georgia State Stadium, both inside the iconic facility and in the surrounding Summerill neighborhood.
Inside Georgia State Stadium is the new GSU Football Operations Suite, including weight training facility, athletic training room, coaches offices, and meeting space for the Panther football program, which is now entirely housed inside the Stadium.
Georgia State begins preseason practice on Aug. 2 in preparation for the team's Aug. 31 opener at Tennessee (3:30 p.m. on ESPNU). The Panthers' home opener is set for Saturday, Sept. 7 vs. Furman at 7 p.m. (ESPN3) at Georgia State Stadium.
