ATLANTA – In its first home match of the 2020 campaign, Georgia State men's tennis snapped its six-match losing streak with a 4-2 victory over FAU Saturday afternoon at the GSU Clarkston Courts.
The Panthers (2-6) opened the afternoon with a strong performance in doubles play, securing victories over FAU (5-7) on courts one and three to clinch the doubles point. GSU duo Andrei Duarte/Roberts Grinvalds, ranked No. 58 in the latest Oracle/ITA Division I Men's Doubles Rankings, notched a 6-3 win at the No. 1 spot and improved to 4-1 on the dual season.
