TUSCALOOSA, AL --The Georgia State women's basketball team got a 25-point showing from the bench, but fell 98-49 to the Alabama Crimson Tide on the road Monday.
Mahogany Matthews led the Panthers (5-4) with five points and four steals. Mikyla Tolivert also added 10 points and Mya Williams chipped in as well with eight points and two steals.
How It Happened
After jumping out to a 5-4 advantage, Georgia State went on a 6-0 run with 7:12 left in the first quarter, culminating in a three from Matthews, to increase its lead to 11-4.
