COLUMBIA, S.C. – Georgia State men’s tennis successfully wrapped up its first tournament of the fall schedule, finishing with a pair of runner-up honors from Jack MacFarlane and Giles Hussey in Flight A Doubles and Bailey Showers and Diego Padilha in Flight B Doubles.
Also highlighting the weekend for the Panthers were Andrei Duarte and Roberts Grinvalds, who each made it to the semifinals of their respective singles draw. Overall, Georgia State concluded its first tournament of the fall with a 28-15 overall record.
“Overall it was great to see everyone especially the freshmen compete in the first tournament of the fall,” GSU head coach Jonathan Wolff said.
