ATLANTA -- Georgia State baseball standouts Nick Gatewood, Hunter Gaddis and Ryan Glass were named to the All-Sun Belt Conference team, selected by the league's head coaches and announced Monday.
Gatewood, the junior catcher from Duluth, Ga. (Peachtree Ridge High School), was named first-team All-Sun Belt as the Panthers' top hitter, batting .321 with 13 homers and 49 RBI. One of only two Sun Belt players who rank in the league's Top 10 in all three triple crown categories, he stands fourth in homers, seventh in RBI and ninth in average. The left-handed hitter had a 17-game hitting streak during the season and was named Naitonal Player of the Week on April 9.
