ATLANTA -- Georgia State ace Hunter Gaddis was named to the All-Sun Belt Conference baseball team for the second straight year, earning second-team honors.
The junior right-hander leads the Sun Belt with 112 strikeouts, which ranks No. 14 in NCAA Division I and is the second-highest total in Georgia State history, just four behind the GSU record of 116. Gaddis struck out 10 or more in four games, including his last two starts against Louisiana (11) and Georgia Southern (10).
Although he was credited with only one win, he took a lead into the eighth inning in four games that GSU was unable to win, and he received two or fewer runs in seven of his 14 starts.
