Football Team Recognized at State Capitol

ATLANTA -- Members of the Georgia State football team accompanied head coach Trent Miles to the State Capitol Thursday, where the Panthers were recognized by both the House of Representatives and the Senate.

First, Miles and the student-athletes visited the House of Representatives, where House Majority Whip Matt Ramsey, a Georgia State graduate, recognized the team.

Then it was off to the Senate, where Georgia State football was again recognized, and the student-athletes had their photo taken with another GSU alumnus, Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle.
