JOHNSON, CITY, Tenn.- Georgia State women's tennis (1-3) fell 5-2 to East Tennessee State Friday afternoon at the Dave Mullins Tennis Complex.
The Panthers were unable to clinch the doubles point, falling to ETSU 6-1 on both courts two and three.
In singles play, the Bucs would continue their momentum, picking up victories on courts 2, 3, and 4. At line one, Eva Chivu outlasted her opposition 6-4, 2-6, 6-3 to give the Panthers its first point of the day. The Romanian is now on a three match win streak at line one.
Andreea Stanescu added to Georgia State's point total with a 6-4, 6-0 win on court five.
