BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Georgia State scored a pair of goals in the first 13 minutes of the game and added two more in the second half to earn a 4-1 win over UAB on Tuesday night at BBVA Field.
Georgia State (6-1, 1-1 Sun Belt) got on the board just 50 seconds into the match on senior Aris Briggs' NCAA-leading fifth goal of the season.
Junior Logan Luque added GSU's second goal of the night in the 13th minute via assists from sophomore Justin Guest and freshman Carlos Luna.
