ATLANTA – Ivie Drake recorded her 272nd career hit Wednesday, breaking Georgia State’s all-time record in a 6-3 loss to Kennesaw State at the Bob Heck Softball Complex.
Drake singled in the bottom of the third to pass Panther legend Corrie Roberts on the GSU career hits list. The senior now holds the GSU career records for most hits, home runs, RBI, runs scored, and walks.
With Kennesaw State leading 3-0 and Drake standing on first, Reagan Morgan doubled to left field and Drake came all the way around from first to score GSU’s first run of the game.
