ATLANTA – With the season set to start in just under two weeks, the Georgia State men's basketball team announced its non-conference schedule on Thursday as preparations continue for opening night against an in-city foe.
Coming off a 19-win season and the first under head coach Rob Lanier, Georgia State will open the season making the short trip across town to McCamish Pavilion to square off with Georgia Tech on opening night, Nov. 25. It will mark the first regular season game between the two programs since 2008, though the schools did play an exhibition game in 2017 won by the Panthers.
