ATLANTA - Georgia State's cross country team travels to Texas for the Texas A&M Invitational Saturday in College Station.
"Georgia State will use this trip to compete against teams we don't normally see in the Southeast during our regular season competitions," head coach Chris England said.
GSU will compete against Texas A&M, Central Michigan, Houston, Lamar, Louisiana Tech, LSU, Rice, Sam Houston State, Southeastern Louisiana, Tarleton State, TAMU-Kingsville, TCU, Tulane and UTRGV.
England also noted that this event will serve as preparation for the Panthers' late-season meets.
"Saturday's race will be a 6K event, same length that the team will run later this season at the NCAA Regional Championship on Nov.
