ATLANTA -- The 2019 Georgia State football schedule, including six home games at Georgia State Stadium, is complete with today's announcement of the Sun Belt Conference schedule by the league office.
The 2019 season marks Georgia State's 10th season of football, and for the first time, the Panthers will open on a Saturday and on the road, travelling to Southeastern Conference foe Tennessee on Saturday, Aug. 31. This will be GSU's second visit to Neyland Stadium and fourth game against an SEC opponent.
The home opener at Georgia State Stadium is slated for Saturday, Sept. 7 against Furman.
