ATLANTA – Georgia State women’s golf coach Cathy Mant who has led the Panthers for nearly 20 years and who hails from Eugene, Oregon, will be inducted into the Pacific Northwest Golf Hall of Fame on April 26 at Inglewood Golf Club in Kenmore, Wash.
Mant, who was born in Washington before moving to Oregon, excelled collegiately at Arizona State, before enjoying 10 years on the LPGA Tour. She became the first full-time women’s golf head at Georgia State in 2000.
“I was very fortunate to grow up playing golf in the Pacific Northwest,” head coach Cathy Mant said.
