MACON, Ga. – For the first time this season, a Georgia State pair was named Coastal Collegiate Sports Association Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week. The duo of Sara Olivova and Jansen Button recorded a perfect 3-0 week to earn the weekly awards, announced by the league office on Tuesday.
The 2015 All-American duo opened last weekend by defeating the duo of Bailey/Knudsen of No. 1 Pepperdine at the College of Charleston Tournament. After dropping the opening set 11-21, Olivova and Button bounced back with a 21-19 and 15-13 wins in sets two and three to secure the victory.
