ATLANTA, GA --Malachi Brown hit a dagger 3-pointer with 35 seconds left in the fourth quarter to put Georgia State ahead 77-70, and the Panthers earned a 79-74 victory against the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers at home Saturday.
The Panthers (7-10, 3-2) had four players score in double figures, led by Zarique Nutter, who had 23 points and two steals. Toneari Lane tacked on 19 points and six rebounds and Cesare Edwards chipped in as well with 15 points and nine rebounds.
Georgia State pulled down 37 rebounds in Saturday's game compared to Coastal Carolina's 28, led by Edwards' nine boards.
